How to get License

Eligibility

Age criteria for the learner permit

• Motorcycle/Motor Car 18 Years
• LTV, Rickshaw, Tractor Commercial 21 Years
• HTV 22 Years (Must have 3 years old Motor Car or LTV License)

Documents Required for Online application.

• Latest Picture (Front Face with White Background)
• Scanned Copy / Picture of Original CNIC (Front and Back)
• Scanned Copy / Picture of Medical Certificate on Form B (issued by an authorized medical practitioner) only for applicants above 50 years and Commercial Licenses

Fee

• Rs. 500 for each category

How to apply Online.

Step 1: Create an account on the DLIMS licensing website Signup

Step 2: Fill out the application form

Step 3: Upload documents

Step 4: Generate PSID and pay through ATM, Online Banking or Mobile Banking channels.

Step5: After Payment Learner Permit is available for Downloading and Printing

Note: Candidate can also visit Driving License Offices and Police Khidmat Marakiz for issuance of Learner Permit with required documents (Original).

• Medical certificate on Form B (issued by an authorized medical practitioner)

How to apply.

Step 1: Visit nearest Driving license Center with required documents.

Step 2: Pass Sign Test

Step 3: Pass Vision / Medical Exam

Step 4: Pass Driving Test

Step 5: Pay Application Fee

Step5: After Payment Driving License Receipt will be provided.

Note: Driving License will be delivered to your address through courier service. E-License can be downloaded from DLIMS website

• Scanned Copy / Picture of Original CNIC (Front and Back)
• Scanned Copy / Picture of Medical Certificate on Form B (issued by an authorized medical practitioner) only for applicants above 50 years and Commercial Licenses
• Scanned Copy / Picture of Loss Report / FIR

Step 2: Fill out the application form

Step 3: Upload documents

Step 4: Generate PSID and pay through ATM, Online Banking or Mobile Banking channels.

Step5: After Payment your application will be sent to Licensing Authority for approval.

Step6: After approval your License will be printed and dispatched to your address.

Note: Candidate can also visit Driving License Offices and Police Khidmat Marakiz for Duplicate License with required documents (Original).

• Scanned Copy / Picture of Medical Certificate on Form B (issued by an authorized medical practitioner) only for applicants above 50 years and Commercial Licenses

Note: 480 Rs will be charge.

Renewal can be done for 1 to 5 years

If Driving License is expired for mor than 5 years candidate must have visit to Licensing Authority Office for renewal, Driving Test will be conducted before renewal.

To apply for an international driving license:

• Original ID card
• Valid Passport.
